  • bye sydney

Now sitting here what it seems to be my last 24 hours here in sydney, *partly vowing* not to come back until I get a proper job. At this short 10 years here. Much had happened, well especially the last 4 years while i'm in uni and CBC. Well there are lots to be missed, to name a few: 1) trains that never arrive on time, 2) BLUE sky and BEACH, 3) shops that closes @ 5pm, 4) piano (as it will be very costly to bring it back nor I have the space, is going to stay here for a couple years before be transported back), 5) and everyone that helped me along the way in anyway.

Going back to the hustle city of Hong Kong, where it seems a day never ends over there, is a non-stopping city. But i hope will see most of u guys in HK sometimes. As i always say, let's have an international trip, to HK. But I probably will go to Japan once in summer just to cool everything off.

Finally got everything packed just couple hours to go, taking so much stuff, a near 20KG for clothes alone. i AM going back for some time.

Anyway, i will see all u guys.. later

  • youthgetaway 07

a quite retreat up to kiah ridge during the easter break with church youth group. 'twas a nice relaxing trip, sports, games, talks were all fantastic. intrigue by darryl's talk on "predestination", which ended up with a nearly half an hour chat with darryl + missing the bon fire which was washed away by rain, but I could see it in a distance. got heaps out of the talks and redefine my perception of being a christian. It was continued in the discussion grps as well, an thx bernard for leading. is more like a debate than a discussion grp in certain day, but i liked it.

never knew that there was a bush trail in KR.. had a chance to walk on it led by steve and jan, tho u can only see burnt tree, really that's all there is, but had a nice catch-up times with kelvin, rox and faith since the first day of camp was acutally the first day that i ever went back to church in 2007.

games were mad, thx to jamai and kang. That is everything apart from trivia (science... meh.. i know it was you). Not to mention the two chillies that i had to take during a game, glad they wernt mexician ones. Ketcup Race and Musical Island were great as well, well as long as the paper didnt fell apart... which constantly did.. hahha but all they were all fav games especially the numerous charades we did + the video game, which we had to do a "sit-com" with a "singaporean accent" together with a line "time to die".. hmm.. you figure this out. i ensure you, there were a LOT of "la's" coming out of every single sentence in that particular video.

one unbelievable thing that happened during camp this year, is that i found (well, was given back) the necklace that i lost in KR last year! was plesently surpirsed when ian asked me into the kitchen, thank you and thank you god.

in the end, everything went pretty well EXCEPT the bus ride home, those on my bus knew what happened.

that should wraps up yg07.. for photos, go to the usual http://picasaweb.google.com/v.subzero

end with a verse from the song in communion "Rock of ages"

rock of ages, cleft for me
    hide me now, my refuge be;
let the water and the blood
From your wonded side which flowed,
be for sin the double cure,
cleanse me from its guilt and power

was quite touching, indeed when sang during sunday.. with.. um.. orange juice (my imagination can go as far)

  • goodbye hong kong

well.. now sitting at the food court of the HKIA, using my laptop and browsing stuff on the internet. Last minutes here (actually my flight is in bit less than 2 hours time), got here way too early. Had a look at the new terminal 2, is so quiet over there, but there are heaps of "attractions" as well, went to the hollywood museum type thing, had heaps of picutres of the "tofu" car from Initial-D, was going to go to the 4D theatre as well, but decided to go into the immigration early.

So what have i done in these 3 months, seems insignificant, but many things happened, knew heaps of new people, decided that i might work in Hong Kong, chinese new year (that's every year anyway), started saving money in HKD, and lots more, and for the first time, my luggage was over the allowable limit (tho they didnt charge me anything for it, just slap a HEAVY sticker on my suitcase.. hahah)

anyway.. running out of battery, going to shop more round the places.. saw sumthing quite funny down at the disney store.. going to check it out again, and probably buy some mag while on the way..

hong kong.. i will miss you.. (although i probably be back in less than 3 months)

take care to all, i am coming back~ lolz..

  • Useless trivia

    "一千不可思議"有幾多個零?

In chinese, One thousand "unbelivable" has how many zeros?

    Edit:

Well.. is not a IQ question really, is in the books...
and the answer to that was 67 zeros..

But the funniest answer i had by far was 6 zeros, rationale behind was "一千" had 3 zeros, and "可思議" each had a "口" which looks and therefore consituted as a zero.. so 3+3=6 zeros.. i was like.... ok.... creative answer

man.. people are bored enough to name sumthing to 70 zeros.. and there are also people who are bored enough to read them
